Yvonne Simonis

A Celebration of Life and Legacy (4/14/1922 - 9/21/2023)

Yvonne Simonis born to the late Emmanuel Simonis and Marianna Zephir on April 14, 1922, in Jacmel, Haiti.

 She lived her life exemplifying the Proverbs 31 woman... Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Yvonne was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend, entrepreneur, and most of all a servant of God. She believed in living a life of integrity, strong character and excellence.

On Thursday, September 21, 2023, Yvonne’s journey on earth ended, as she entered rest joining her loving Savior, Jesus Christ in eternity.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Emmanuel Simonis and Ms. Marianna Zephir; brother, Christian; sister, Emilie; nephew, Jean Michel.

She has left a permanent impact to be remembered by her two children: Dr Joseph Nirvel Nicaisse and Mrs. Micheline Regnier; five grandchildren: Gina Rene (Jean Jacques), Nancy Nicaisse (Jean), Wilfred Nicaisse (Junior) (Syrah), Peggy Guerrier and Reginald Regnier (Yadle); fourteen great-grandchildren: Jessica, Herve, Yamile, Nahomie, Jonathan, Christopher, Hannah, Zoe, Jonah, Ian, Mila, Immanuel, Riley, and Faith; one niece: Mrs Micheline Charles; grand-niece: Viona; grand-nephews: Vladymir, McKinley and  a host of other family and friends.

The family would like to thank you all for your prayers and support at this time.
