William Alcindor

Obituary William Alcindor was born on December 13 th ,1957 in Cavaillon, Haiti. William was the beloved son of Mr. Antonio L. Alcindor (now passed), and Mrs. Andrelle M. Alcindor.

William Alcindor lived his life by sharing the love in his heart with his wife Vivianne and his family. He was murdered on September 16th, 2024, at the age of sixty-six (66).

William was an entrepreneur who ran his school bus and van business for years until he retired. Before running his businesses, William was an accomplished mechanic with a soft heart for the arts, often playing renditions of Haitian Kompas, Bob Marley, System Band, and Gregory Issacs. He was a man of God who practiced his faith at St. Pius, St. Clare, Sacred Heart, St. Boniface, and St. Anne & Joachin Churches. As he walked with God, he touched the lives of the youth of tomorrow in his community. When not working or enjoying the peace music brought him, he spent time with his family creating many strong, lasting friendships, and connecting us all.

William is survived by his wife Vivianne Alcindor, his three children Williamson, Sophia, and Gabriella, grand-daughter Tatianna, grandsons Aaron G. and Aidan M from his first marriage to Marie Gabrielle and his three stepsons: Peterson Jean, Alson Mando, Vivens and step grand-children King Alphonso, and Prince Valentino and his mother Mrs. Andrelle M. Alcindor, his siblings Marie, Yves Antoinette, Lynn, Chanceline, Fitzgerald, Richard, Jacqueline, Harold and Yannick. His legacy continues with his nephews and nieces: Gregory, Tamara, Melinda, Patrick, Julia, Amanda, Allison, Cecilia, Donald Jr, Andy, Danny, Lisa, Gabrielle, Magaline, Nicole, Fitzgerald Jr., Angeline, Jonathon, Richard Vincent, Alyssa, Tatiana, Lauren, Ashton, Jeremiah, Austin, Ashley, Antoine Jr., Daphney, Belinda, Harklicka, Chrispen, Christopher, Carissa, Christie, Daven and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
