Philistin Jean

Philistin Jean also known to many of the family as "[oassainr", was born in Jacmel, Haiti on September 9th, 1942. Son of Esnord and Olesta.

He was a devoted husband to "Frederique" for 49 years, a dad to "Fred, Smith, Jeff and Sukaina". A brother to four brothers, Ernest, Pauleon, Ouance, Felix and Jean Louis and three sisters Uranie, Antonine and Celiane. A grandfather to Sogaya, Kaeltin, Ruldolph, Lavenska, Giselle, Giada, Jahane, Frederica and Fridjo. Father in law to Davenel, Fabiola, Richmie & Caroline.

He was hardworking and spent 20 years at Steinway & Sons as a wood shaper/operator. Philisti.n overcame many obstacles especially O\ er the last four years when he was diagnosed with liver cancer. He bears the illness and pain with strength, patience and dignity. He was a quiet man but his silence could speak volumes. He loves his family and was generous to all who knew him. Although he is no longer with us, his memory will live in each of our hearts.
