Pearl A. Boyce, 99, of Queens, New York, passed away on May 16, 2026, in her Cambria Heights home, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Pearl, affectionately known as "Bonnie," was born on October 6, 1926, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Joseph and Pearl Rodriguez.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Anthony; daughter, Sherry Lynn Gaines; son, Paul Anthony; brothers, Anthony Maurice and Alan Carl; and sisters, Gloria and Lillian.
Pearl was a devoted member of the Cambria Heights Community Church and was well known throughout her community as a no-nonsense parent with a big heart.
She built a distinguished career outside the home, retiring from Chemical Bank after 30 years of dedicated service. In her retirement, Pearl embraced life fully — traveling with family and friends, taking classes in jewelry making and flower arranging at local colleges, and enjoying crocheting and cooking.
Pearl is survived by her son, Kirk Maurice (Deborah), and daughter, Gloria Jean (Michael); grandchildren, Anthony (Amber), Lisa Marie, Michael Lee, Jessica Dominique (Harold), Justin Jermaine, Quinton, and Shelby; great-grandchildren, Dawan, Charay, Makayla, Ariana, Amir, Jayden, Grace, Ayden (Quanisha), Tori, Hunter (Kendra), Chloe, Imani, Riley, and Odyssee; cousin, Melvin (Lee); and a number of nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will surely miss her, but never forget her.
