Micheline Estinville meant many things to many people and one thing we can all agree on is that a soul as pure as hers was far too good for this world. Born February 1st, 1951, Micheline was the fourth child and youngest daughter of Kinsta Baptist and Vilmont Estinville. She was born in the small village of Benet, in Haiti, a beautiful country currently going through an ugly time. As a small girl she knew helping people was what she wanted to do, so she attended Simon Duvalier Nursing School, earning a nursing degree, something she was quite proud of. Wanting a better life for their future families, she and her siblings made the difficult decision to migrate from their ancestral home to The US in 1978, when Micheline was just 27 years-old, settling into a beautiful home in Jamacia, Queens. She began her career as a home health attendant, but ultimately found her home working as an LPN at Kettering Residence for nearly 30 years, retiring in 2015. She was a great mother figure, and though she may not have birthed any children of her own, she helped raise several, being named godmother of 7 children, an honor she took quite seriously. Micheline would spoil her godchildren every Christmas and on their birthdays, putting her impressive shopping skills to the test and boy did she love to shop! In fact, she was often the most stylish person in any room. She loved a party, accepting nearly every invitation to gather with friends, so the family finds comfort in knowing she is partying up with the angels. Micheline is survived by her siblings: Marguerite Moeau, Nicole Marcel, Serge, Claudy & Michel Estinville; her nieces and nephew: Philip Moeau, Gardine & Roland Jr. Marcel, Natalie, Clifford, Claude, Jennifer, Doreen, Marly, Melissa, Michael & Mandy Estinville; her dear sisters-in-law: Majeane and Erine Estinville; her beloved cousins: Yette & Bernadette Lamy and family, Nive Alexandre & family, Mare Annette Dorsainvil & family, Ilvert, Hubert and Enauld Precil &their respective families, as well as a host of other dear family members, far too many of them to name here. With much love.
