Michel Jean Charles was born on November 5, 1960, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to his loving parents, Estella Désir and Duteres Jean Charles. On December 6, 2025, Michel transitioned from this life, leaving behind a powerful legacy of love, dedication, and quiet strength. Michel was a devoted and loving father to his four children: Mishcarleen, Daniel, Christelle, and Stellan. He was also a proud grandfather of two and a cherished brother to two sisters and two brothers. Raised in a large family, Michel leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and many friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. A true family man, Michel lived his life guided by kindness, integrity, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. His presence brought stability, wisdom, and comfort to his family, and he was always someone others could depend on. Professionally, Michel was an accomplished engineer known for his strong work ethic, discipline, and commitment to excellence. Beyond his career, he generously shared his gift for mathematics by tutoring children in need, believing deeply in the power of education and opportunity. He took great pride in his work and in the life he built for his family through perseverance and sacrifice. Michel will be remembered as a warm, hardworking, and dependable man—one who led with humility, quiet strength, and a generous heart. His loss leaves an immeasurable void, but his legacy will continue to live on through the lives he touched and the love he gave. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. May Michel Jean Charles rest in eternal peace.
