Obituary
Lindo G. Wilson was born on May 25, 1932 in Saint Mary, Jamaica.
Mr. Wilson left Jamaica and started working
when he was 16. He traveled the world three times over, while he worked/volunteered as a merchant seaman. He married Doreen Dwyer on January 28, 1970, and was married to Mrs. Wilson for 37 years until her death in 2007.
Mr. Wilson worked for the MTA in New York from 1970, until his retirement in March 1995. From his retirement until his passing, Mr. Wilson touched everyone he met wherever he traveled; yet wasn’t afraid to express himself when he felt he was being wronged. Whatever else you may know about him other than what he’s shared with me, is for you and you alone to know.
Though my father passing away is a shock to the system, let me assure you that Mr. Wilson is in good hands.
After 88 years of going through everything from the Great Depression to this present 21st century climate, it’s about time he gets the rest he deserves.
And that’s all that matters.
Respectfully Submitted,
M.L. Wilson.
