Laurent Wesner Sabbat

Laurent Wesner Sabbat passed away on Wednesday March 20, 2019 at his home in Forest Hills, NY.  He leaves behind his wife Gisele, children Webens, Clodette, Nadege, Jimmy, Greg, and Joe.  His grandchildren  Preston, Jona, Chris, Bianca, Tesia, Sebastian, Julian, Gia, Jayden, and Jordan.  His greatgrandchildren Jayden and Zach.

Wesner was born in Port-Au-Prince Haiti on August 10, 1934.  He and his wife Gisele came to the U.S. for a better life in 1976, however not without the sacrifice of leaving their children behind for 4 years before they can get them their visas.  

Wesner worked in the Dry Cleaning industry for several different companies over the years.  However, at the age of 57 he decided to purchase his own store which he operated until his retirement.

He was a loving father, a good provider to his family, and afunny man to be around.  He will be truly missed.
