Julie Ann Morgan

Julie Ann Morgan was born November 11th 1955 in Flatbush, Brooklyn. She was one of 12 children born unto Thomas and Catherine O'Reilly. Julie’s sibling say she is tiny in stature but has the biggest heart and always looked for the best in everyone. She attended St. Joseph's Academy for Girls where she met the love of her life Joseph Morgan. She attended and graduated from St.John's University. Julie and Joseph married in June of 1977 and soon thereafter began their own sprawling family. Julie had many nicknames in her life Red, Jules, but her favorite was mom. In a testament to her boundless love Julie raised five children of her own and adopted two more. She was known as mom by all, including all her children's friends whom she would gladly welcome into her home or teach how to swim. Julie was known for her fun, kind, and generous nature. Her two loves in her life were family and cooking. She was known for creating and holding on to old family recipes and teaching them to others. Her Southern Fried chicken and Presto cake recipes are the stuff of legend passed down through the generations. She wasn’t only dedicated to her home family but also to her Home Depot family. Julie for nearly 30 years dedicated her life to Home Depot. There she rose from cashier to headup a number of departments at her second home the Elmont Home Depot. Julie found peace and rest with the Lord on December 28th, 2022. She is survived by her six children Joseph, James, Thomas, Catherine, Margaret, and Elizabeth. Her 11 grand children Erin, Riley, Liam, Emily, Colm, Eva, Conner, Mia, Pepe, Elena, and Michael.
