Johnnie Anan Singh, 76, of Elmont, New York, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on January 30, 1950, in Bartica, Guyana, Johnnie was the beloved son of Jaimangal and Betty Singh. He lived a life marked by dedication to his family, kindness to others, and a passion for helping those around him. As a coach, he inspired and mentored many, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those he guided and encouraged.Johnnie is survived by his loving wife, Sheri; his cherished children, Christina, Crystal, Ryan, and Jose; his adored grandchildren, Zander, Zendaya, and Zahra; and his big brother, Jay, along with his family. He leaves behind many relatives, friends, former players, and loved ones who will forever treasure his memory. Johnnie's warmth, wisdom, leadership, story telling, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
