Jean Carlo Goin

Jean Carlo Goin passed away peacefully at the age of 83. Born on March 26,1941, in Les Cayes, Haiti, he was the son of Absalon and Julia Goin. From the very beginning, he was surrounded by love and support, growing up in a family that instilled in him the values of hard work, loyalty, and compassion.

First and foremost, Jean was a loving husband. He shared many years of marriage with his wife Paula Goin, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Their relationship was built on mutual respect, love, and the kind of partnership that only a lifetime of shared experiences could create.

He is survived by his two children Jacques O. Goin and Nancy Goin, and his four stepchildren Jenny Katiana, Fritzline Laura, Marc, and Kevin. His love didn’t stop there, as he gave the same warmth and care to his five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his siblings Rev. Nerva Goin, Msgr. Thomas Albert Goin, Max Goin, Erta Alexandre (Goin), Simone Boyer (Goin) and Marie Laurette (Goin).

His journey through life was one of resilience, love, and dedication, and he leaves behind a legacy that touches the hearts of everyone who knew him.We reflect on his incredible life and the impact he made on all of us—his family, his friends, and all those whose lives he touched.

His family will welcome friends for the viewing on Saturday March 8, 2025 at 8am-10:45am at O’Brien-Sheipe Funeral Home, located at 640 Elmont Road Elmont, NY 11003. Mass will follow at St.Boniface Church from 11am-12pm (631 Elmont Rd Elmont NY,11003). Burial will be at Greenfield Cemetery (Arrive at 12:30pm) 650 Nassau Rd Uniondale, NY 11553.
