Harold Jean, age 71, a loving father to Arlene Jean and adoring husband to Gertha Delva, passed away on March 22nd, 2025, after enduring multiple strokes 8 years ago, leading him to continuous treatments of hemodialysis.
Harold was born on June 6, 1953, in Grande Rivière Du Nord, Haiti. He was the last living amongst his two siblings Jacqueline and Jacquelin and his Mother Lucie Jean. He was known for always giving a helping hand, fixing anything, his warm smile, his funny jokes, gentle demeanor and unwavering generosity.
Harold worked as a School Bus Chauffeur for 13 years where he was respected for his dedication and hard work. He approached every task with diligence, integrity and was always ON TIME. He always left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of working with him.
In his free time, Harold enjoyed listening to music, fixing cars, a strong love for Apple computers & doing home repairs around the house. Harold was most lively when he was around friends and family.
Harold transcended to the Lord surrounded by his loved ones. He leaves behind his beloved wife Gertha, his only child Arlene, his goddaughter Mariah, his cousins Man Louis, Marie Juslene (Mona), Lourdes, Linda, Elsie, Varda (Danne), Harry, Popole, Maryse, and Lionel, nieces Barbara and Rebecca, nephew Guy Gerald and his closest friends Jocelyn, Guardy, Molines, Dadou, Ligonde, Marc and Tico.
Harold will be deeply missed. He touched the lives of many and will be remembered fondly for his kindness, compassion and gentle spirit. He may have left this world but his love and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. As Harold would say, Ciao!
