Booz Azemar was born October 4, 1949, in a large family of fifteen children, in Ranquitte, Haiti. His late parents are Mr Norandin and Mrs Leonie Augustin Azemar. Booz attended school in Haiti. In the year of 1986, he came to the United States to establish a better life. He became the manager of the Galaxy Hotel in Brooklyn, NY for 10 years. Then he went to work for Jobe Corporation, a construction company for 18 years. Throughout that time, Booz decided to dedicate his life to God and joined the Maranatha SDA church. During this time, he also fought a long battle with kidney failure and came to rest on Saturday, 13 June 2020.
Booz Azemar was the funny friend, uncle, brother and father. He was caring and well respected and filled with charisma. He was loved by his family and friends. He will truly be missed by all. He is survived by five children: Jean-Richard Azemar, Jimmie Azemar, Reginald Azemar, Dala Azemar and Mylasia Azemar. Five siblings Serge Azemar, Daniel Azemar, Armante Azemar Altino, Venus Azemar Gustanar, and Lunide Azemar A Le Gallo, Two Brother in Laws Jean D. Altino and Francois Le Gallo. Booz. Three lovely sisters in laws Jacquelin Azemar, Annocie Azemar and Von Azemar. Booz also is survived by seven grandchildren: Nelly Thychay Azemar, Ashton S. Azemar, Alliana Azemar, Amelia Azemar, Anyah, Mon’yally and Ra’yelly.
Thirteen nephews: Fritz Negri, Alain Azemar, Appollos Gustanar, Goussen Gustanr , Kedar Azemar, Ripha Gustanar, Godson Azemar, Louis Zephyr, Arden Altino, Edson Altino, Ervens Altino, Jesse Altino and Michael Eustache. Thirteen nieces: Netye Negri, Nancy Cesaire, Marjorie Altino, Wanda Altino Rhodes, Jasmine A Alcanthe, Elmrye Gustanar, Nouselihn Gustanar, Sherline Azemar, Daphnee A Jocelynn, Lynn-Sara Azemar, Vanessa Azemar, Valerie Zephyr and Mica Azemar.
