Bernadette Joseph Bernadette Joseph’s resilient spirit and deep faith in God defined her life and the profound impact she had on everyone who knew her. After the passing of her husband, Bernadette immigrated to the United States from her native Haiti in search of greater opportunities for her children. Through her hard work and determination, she brought her children to this country, instilling in them the value of education and the belief that they could achieve the opportunities she was denied. Bernadette had a passion for traveling, cooking, and gardening, and she embraced life with enthusiasm. She believed that there were no obstacles that couldn't be overcome and encouraged everyone to never limit themselves. Her love for fashion, perfume, and jewelry reflected her vibrant personality. Her devotion to her family was evident in her many acts of service, particularly through her cooking, which brought joy to gatherings and created cherished memories. Bernadette is survived by her children: Rulx Barthelus, Rulsy Bazin, Rulsa Barthelus, and Rulska Barthelus. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Rulsky Barthelus, Sheena Barthelus, Sephora Bazin, Christian Barthelus, Anthony Barthelus, Ryan Barthelus, Rihanna Barthelus, Samira Barthelus, and Chris Barthelus. With unwavering faith in God, she taught the importance of faith, generosity, and respect for all.
