Valerie Hector

Valerie Hector was born on September 25, 1965, to Gizelle Pelisser Hector and Luc Hector, has passed away on July 8, 2019.  She is survived by her, loving mother Gizelle, stepfather Jean Baptist Jean, brothers Reginald and Oliver, nephew Alexander, and her extended family at Bakers Life, Southern Queens Park Association, P.S. 116, P.S. 118, and YAI.  Valerie spent most of her free time volunteering and assisting others by making sure every child had a chance to learn to read no matter what the obstacle was that stood in their way.  She was a selfless woman whom was always helping the kids from varies schools she worked for, and still found time to assist her nephew with his homework.  Valerie never tires when it came to her children.  She always had compassion and a smile on her face when working with her children. Valerie will always be a special person that touched and changed the lives of many with her love, patience, and tenacity for wanting better for others than herself.  She is loved and missed by all who knew her.
