After a full career in the Village, Talking Books automated and Linda moved to Elmont and began working for GEICO where she worked for 17 years until her untimely death. In January of 2019 Linda developed type 2 diabetes and had three stints placed to open her blocked arteries. She pulled through that life threatening crisis and committed to walking daily and improving her daily diet. Linda was making health gains until the evening of Sunday 25 August when she had a heart attack that rendered her unconscious until her last breath in the early morning hours of 31 August 2019.
Linda is survived by her three sisters Bonnie, Kerry and Stacey, brother-in-law Thomas, nephew Kent, nieces, Kennedy and Whitney, God daughters Jennifer and Rachel and a host of cousins.
Linda will be missed by cherished coworkers at GEICO, Family friends in Elmont, Lifetime friends in Woodside, Puerto Rico, New Jersey, Florida, Upstate NY, and Extended relatives in Texas, California and Virginia. Linda touched the lives of so many on a daily basis and shared kind words and blessings whenever possible. The heavens have gained a new star.
